Melting snow and a thrush prone horse?

Suggestions?

I’ve tried every thrush treatment and preventer with little success.

I’ve been told to try EasyBoots, but they would need to stay on all day every day for one-two months. I could take them off almost every day for a while, they would come off whenever I ride, and whenever the paddocks are dry. Worth a try?

Last summer I also wrapped his hooves with vetwrap & duct tape with some rubber underneath (reccomended as a last resort by my farrier) but even after my riding instructor, farrier, vet, experienced horse-person aunt, and myself tried a different way to put them on, they came off. =S
And it would be somewhat of a hassel to take them off and change them every day, since I live 30 minutes from where my horses are boarded.
No that would not be possible. He shares a paddock with 4 other horses, and it would only cause problems, since he is the herd ‘boss’.

It’s not really the snow that’s the problem. It’s the mud and puddles the melting snow cause.
The only way to keep him out of the mud or water is to keep him inside 24/7 and that is defenitly not an option.
He doesn’t do well in a stall for an hour when I leave him in there while I ride my other horse.
He won’t tolerate being stalled for two months.
