Comments/suggestions from anyone who has used formaldehyde for treatment of thrush on a horse. ?
My vet has recommended formaldehyde for treatment of thrush for my horse. She has is all the time, sometimes worse than others. Use coppertox to keep under control. She is an older horse and I don’t want her to go lame. I hope this is not too aggressive of treatment for her and I am curious about antibiotic treatment that I have read about and have not tried.
